Stove glass fitting can be arranged in store - drop off & collection service for stove doors.
Select the correct Saltfire Peanut model and glass size from the dropdown menu. Each option includes an 8mm soft round glass rope seal suitable for trimming to fit the selected panel.
Every panel is precision cut from genuine SCHOTT ROBAX fire-viewing glass-ceramic, designed for high-temperature stove and fireplace applications.
Suitable for Peanut 3, 5, 8 and 10 models, including Tall and Marine versions, and Bignut 5 models.
Glass sizes:
Peanut 3 – 264 × 248mm
Peanut 5 – 308 × 291mm
Peanut 8 / Bignut 5 – 380 × 310mm
Peanut 10 – 480 × 315mm
Glass is unbranded and does not feature any Saltfire or Peanut logos.
An 8mm soft round glass rope seal is supplied with every panel. No glue is supplied or normally required, as the pressure of the fitted glass should hold the seal securely in place.
Trim the seal neatly with scissors and join the two ends with a butt joint without overlapping them. End sealing tape can be applied to the ends of the seal to help prevent fraying.

Please compare the stated dimensions with your existing stove glass before ordering. Glass sizes can vary between similar models, production years or door versions.
If you are unsure which glass you require, contact us with your stove make, model, measurements and a photograph or outline of the old panel.
Remove the old glass and seal, clean the supporting surfaces and fit the supplied rope seal around the replacement panel.
The retaining clips should hold the glass securely but must not be overtightened. Ceramic stove glass requires a small amount of clearance to expand and contract safely during heating and cooling.
