This is a full cast iron firebar set to fit a Hunter Herald 14, Herald 14 Double Sided Double Depth and Inglenook High Output stove. The 'small end' fire bar is also known as a High Lift bar. It has a 'Smaller' hook and sits 'Higher' on the shaker bar. The 'big end' fire bar is also known as a Low Lift bar. It has a 'Bigger' hook and sits 'Lower' on the shaker bar. Please read the below information regarding sizing of fire bars.

Please note in approx. 2007/2008 the Herald 14 had to be altered which resulted in a change in grate bar length. The older bars are no longer available and a full new set is required. The new bars are slightly shorter but will still fit.

This distortion is a common reason why riddling mechanisms can become jammed or stop functioning properly. New fire bars are usually slightly shorter than worn ones—often by 10mm to 20mm—so be sure to account for this difference when measuring and comparing your old bars.
