Charnwood LA 45iB/50iB Replacement Stove Glass with Seal

This replacement fits both the Charnwood LA 45iB Boiler and LA 50iB Boiler.

Both models use the same 260 × 172 × 4mm replacement glass panel and fitting seal.

Each panel is precision cut from genuine SCHOTT ROBAX heat-resistant glass-ceramic designed for high-temperature stove and fireplace applications.

Glass Seal Included

A new 8mm × 3mm self-adhesive high-temperature glass seal is supplied with every panel.

The seal cushions the glass against the metal door, helps distribute pressure from the retainers and prevents direct glass-to-metal contact.

This is the thin flat seal used when fitting the stove glass, not the larger round rope fitted around the stove door.

Fitting Advice

Remove the old glass and seal and clean the glass recess before fitting the replacement.

Apply the new seal evenly without stretching it. Refit the glass retainers gradually and evenly.

Do not overtighten the clips or screws. They should hold the pane securely without rigidly clamping it, as excessive or uneven pressure can cause the glass to fracture.
